Job Description
- Performance Optimization: Develop and improve machinery performance through design enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintenance Oversight: Design maintenance procedures and checklists to ensure all activities are accurate, safe, and minimize downtime.
- Operational Monitoring: Monitor and follow up on preventive maintenance (PM) schedules across daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly cycles.
- Problem Solving: Collaborate with teams to perform root cause analysis and solve complex technical issues.
- Team Leadership: Upskill, coach, and prepare team members to meet business goals and company policies.
Budget & Compliance: Control maintenance costs within the approved budget and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 18000 standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must Have (Essential)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience specifically within the automotive industry and engineering field.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical competencies with a deep understanding of mechanical performance.
- Leadership: Proven ability in leadership and people management.
- Language: Intermediate proficiency in English.
Nice to Have (Advantageous)
- Software Skills: Average proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD.
- Systems Knowledge: Practical knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong background in analytical thinking and continuous improvement methodologies.
